This or That? (Tag)

Hi friends! Today I have a fun tag for you, called the "This or That" tag. I love doing tags, because they're a great way for us to get to know each other! I was tagged by the lovely Vivienne over at Jolie Pagaille to do this. Check her out--she refers to her blog as "a beautiful mess" since there's a little bit of everything on there.

1. State who tagged you (provide a link to their blog).
2. Answer all of the questions.
3. Select one "This or That" question for all your subscribers to answer.
4. Tag 4 people to answer ALL the this or that questions on their blogs (provide links). They say you really get to know people when they’re put in tight situations. Today’s “This or That” is going to do just that!

1. Blush or Bronzer? 
Blush. I only usually use bronzer in the summer. I own my pale-ness for the rest of the year!

2. Eyeliner or Mascara?  
Mascara--my eyelashes are blonde!

3. Foundation or Concealer? 
Since I only usually use BB cream, I'd rather have concealer to cover up the dark circles under my eyes! (Which, by the way, are currently getting darker with finals time quickly approaching)

4. Lipgloss or Lipstick? 
This might be totally cheating, but glossy lipstick. Matte lipstick can be a little bold for me, but I love a lipstick that can give me color and some shine!

5. Neutral or Color Shadow?
Neutral eyeshadow, because I'm boring. Plus, my eyes are blue, so colors like brown and taupe make them pop.

6. Sponges or Brushes?
After my makeup class this semester, I have officially decided that I hate those little white triangular sponges. Brushes all the way!

7. OPI or China Glaze? 
I actually like them both equally.

8. Acrylic or Natural?
Natural. How do people do anything with acrylic nails!?

9. Long or Short?
Short. They're bound to break eventually, and after awhile nails reach that certain point of longness where things just get weird.

10. Brights, Darks, or Neutrals?
Brights in spring and summer, dark colors in fall and winter, and neutrals anytime! I have to admit, though, looking down at a happy, bright polish in the warmer months makes me really happy.

11. Perfumes or Mists? 
Mists. Perfumes can sometimes give me a headache. I prefer something less strong like a body splash or mist.

12. Lotion or Body Butter? 
The more hydrating, the better. Body butter, please!

13. Body Wash or Soap? 
Body wash, if only for the fact that they won't melt after sitting in water. I also find them to be generally more moisturizing, too.

14. Wax or Shave? 
After a traumatic waxing experience, I will be shaving for the rest of my life!

15. Jeans or Joggers?
Joggers? Is that sweatpants? I never heard that before! As much as I would love to live in sweatpants forever, you'll probably see me wearing jeans. Unless it's Sunday--Sundays were meant for sweatpants.
  
16. Skirts or Dresses? 
Dresses. They require less work. It's like an adult onesie.

17. Stripes or Checkers? 
Stripes. Especially nautical ones, but I'm up for anything. Though my favorite shirt in middle school was this pink gingham button-up, so maybe one day my preferences will change.

18. Flip Flops or Sandals? 
As someone with flat feet, I have to go with sandals. The only times I wear flip flops are to the beach and in dorm room showers. Also, even since I sprained my ankle next year, I need the support.

19. Boots or Stilettos? 
Whenever I'm in stilettos, I feel like Bambi learning to walk, so I'm going to have to say boots. The closer to the ground I am, the better!

20. Curly or Straight? 
My straight hair gives me constant curly-hair envy!

21. Long or Short?
It depends what kind of hair I have. I always want what I don't have! Though I have to say, after cutting 10 inches off my hair, having short hair is amazingly less maintenance.

22. Bun or Ponytail?
Ponytails. My hair is a little short for a bun right now. I love the classy look of a sock bun, but I've never been able to do it right.

23. Light or Dark?
Light! I want to go a lighter blonde, but that would require me bleaching my whole head, so....

24. Hair Spray or Gel? 
I don't really use either, but I use hairspray once in a blue moon when I do a fancy up-do, so I guess that's that.

25. Rain or Shine? 
Sunshine! Does anyone really pick rain?

26. Summer or Winter? 
Summer! Why I decided to go to school in Boston is beyond me. It's basically six straight months of winter here.

27. Autumn or Spring? 
That's a tough one! As much as I love the holiday season, spring means that eventually it will be warm. Plus, my birthday is in the spring, so really it's not a contest.

28. Chocolate or Vanilla? 
Chocolate! Anyone who picks vanilla astounds me.

29. Fashion or Beauty? 
I enjoy both, but I have a beauty blog, not a fashion blog, so I guess that speaks for itself. ;)

30. Leather or Sequins? 
I feel like leather is classier. The only time I might pick sequins is on New Years Eve.
